Lovely Bed and Breakfast within walking distance to State Street….
We were fortunate to stay in the “Penthouse Suite” at the Country House.
The accommodations were very nice as well as spacious. The access does include a couple of steep staircases.
The fresh cooked breakfast were delicious! I would recommend this spot.
The Upham Hotel and Country house was the perfect place for our Honeymoon.
The Penthouse room had a large balcony with breathtaking views of Santa Barbara, a jacuzzi bath and separate living and sleeping quarters.
The inn keeper was very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Looking forward to staying again!
My fiancé and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Santa Barbara from Ireland. Perfectly located 2 blocks off State st., we got to experience the best of the area from this location. Very pretty rooms! We had yummy scrambled eggs for breakfast. The innkeeper was lovely and the younger girl there during the day was so interesting to talk to. The food and drinks left out for guests during the day was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again if we get to revisit this area!
